Mild, a dark mild with the traditional, fuller Northern taste. It has a smooth head and a rich deep colour. Makes 40 pint and requires basic beer making equipment

Brewing Notes

Produces 40 pints / 23 litres

Requires 1kg of Sugar. However, we recommend that you try using the Beerworks 1.2 ltr Liquid Malt Enhancer instead of sugar. This produces a far superior brew and is perfect for this type of kit. See the link below for details.

“Utrolig lett drikkelig selv om den er relativt mørk. God brent smak av mandel eller noe lignende. Amazingly easy, although it is relatively dark. Good burned taste of almond or something similar.”

“this was only my second forry into beer making, and this kit is superb. at just over £10. it represents excellent value, and produces a very tasty mild. My only grip, and it is a small one, is that despite following the instructions to the letter, I was unable to produce the secondary fermentation, resulting in a brew without a head. Nevertheless, it is, as the header said. It is a \"canny drop like\"". "”
