The award winning brewery based in Burton, situated alongside the Trent. They still brew all their beers here and have a great pub for those wishing to sample their produce.
Brewing Notes
Kit Weight: 1.8kg
Produces 40 pints / 23 litres
Needs 1kg of either:

Granulated Sugar
Brewing Sugar

Dried or Liquid Malt (Unhopped)

The quality of the brew will improve with the more malt and less sugar used. Any combination (mixture) of the above is fine.

Brewed with light spraymalt, three weeks primary, three days secondary fermentation, one week conditioning and six weeks maturing in the bottle. 4.5% abv. This kit must have been around for over 30 years as I can remember buying it in the 80s. It was great then and now. A true real ale with a strong malt taste and subdued hops. Still a joy to taste if you like a traditional Burton style bitter with a strong real ale flavour.
