I am drinking a pint of this which has been in a barrel since the end of May and it has settled into a strong, flavourful, robust and pretty alcoholic brew. I am, to say the least, pleased and impressed. It's been a long wait and i hope it will be even better as it ages more. Well worth making and waiting for it to mature.

I have been brewing beer for over 30 years. And how the quality of the kits have changed. This is one of my favorites. Very strong. And well matured red IPA . If left to gain time in the bottle I would say 2 months you can see the difference as the body of this brew improves.to give if not better than any beer you can get from a pub. All my friends say they can't believe it's home brew. Just following the instructions, and having patience for this beer to come of age is well worth the time and effort.

Made right this brew is as good as you would get in any real ale pub. Full of flavour, good condition and a full head if poured that way...and if you want a kick to your brew then 4 pints and you will be asking for Mummy !

This kit comes with a massive bag of malt extract dried yeast and 2 packets of hop pellets to dry hop with near bottling, the later you add the hops the more aroma and flavour you get. Produces a great easy drinking amber beer that is deceptively strong
