“Heater works well and maintains temperature.......my complaint is that putting a flat twin core cable through a round hole in the bung does not create a good seal! So, nothing to prevent ingress of air and exit of gasses. Therefore, progress of fermentation cannot be estimated by airlock bubbles as there is no build up of pressure. Maybe something to bear in mind if you restock.”
