“This is a must have device if you are fermenting in a shed or cabin with no proper temperature control. It comes pre-set to 24 degrees and the adjustment knob points to the cable at 12 0'clock. There are no real instructions on how to adjust the temperature other than anti-clockwise for a cooler setting. In simple terms, turning back 30 degrees to the (5 minuites to position) gave me a temperature of 23 degrees, and when I turned it back further by another 30 degrees to the (10 minuites to position) it gave me my preferred fermenting temperature of 22 degrees. I guess that the (quarter to position) will be around 20-21 degrees. The knob is very tight presumably because it is well sealed, so be prepared to give it some force. Hope this information is useful to someone.”
