I\'ve been brewing a few years now, only kits. Have done beers lagers stouts but mainly cider and wines. I decided to give this one a try. I only bottle my brews so carbonation is a big deal when it comes to beers and ciders. You get a bag of dextrose for carbonation so you cant go wrong. I just did a secondary and batch primed as I always do and this has been the best carbonation to date absolutely spot on. The cider itself is only bottles around 2 weeks yet so its still very young. I tried 3 bottles last night and man does it pack a punch. Its very easy to drink probably a little too easy but after such a short times its already very drinkable.would I recommend Yes I would and will i brew again Yes I will.

This kit from Ciderworks has superior apple extract, even though brewing sugar is provided/added, hence a superior end product. The oak chips are also effective in adding the barrel aged 'oaky' flavour, which is pretty natural and not overpowering. I think the yeast is superior quality also. I did half the batch 'dry' and added half the sweetener to the fermenter half way through botting so had a half batch that was 'sweet' Personally prefer dry, but wife said the sweet batch was just sweet enough. Not the cheapest kit out there, but definitely a good quality kit. You get what you pay for!

I just love this kit. I never add the sweetener as I like it dry

This was my first time trying my hand at cider. Nothing was complicated and everything needed was provided in the box including the sugar, all with easy to follow instructions. The results? The best cider I have ever had the pleasure to drink, fantastic apple tones and perfectly balanced. I will definitely be returning for more. Brilliant product and a great find!

If I could I would give this 6 stars! It worked out about 6.2%abv (allowing for secondary fermentation). Although I don't drink a lot of cider this was by far the best I have drunk (and my wife agrees). One bottle is never enough!
