“This started at 1.050 and finished at 1.010, so notionally 5.25%. I found that after 2 weeks in the bottle it was clear but had an unpleasant resinous taste, but I was being impatient. After another 3 or 4 weeks it had mellowed to a strong malty bitter, tasting quite a bit stronger than 5.25%, and with a slight Belgian farmhouse taste to it rather than the expected English fuggles bitter. Very pleasant though, all long gone, and highly recommended if you can bear to leave it to mellow.”
