“Just wouldn't clear. Bottled and just clearing after 3 weeks. Kids and some friends think its fine. Has a back note that I don't like (too much flacked Maize?), but its very drinkable. I just tell people it's Weissbier and they are fine with it. As I don't like Weissbier its not for me, but as the boys are back from Uni., it wont last long enough to be a problem... Think I'll stick with the part grain kits”

“A very nice ale.... Not really a lager, but it is very very nice! A very distinct hoppy taste. I only used 2/3 of the hops to soften the flavour. I would definitely buy again.”

“Easy to follow instructions, quality ingredients, quick with no apparent problems. However, in my opinion the final product is a German style wheat beer ( a good quality one nethertheless). It has the distinctive banana notes if the Bavarian style wheat beers, quite dark, fruity and achieving an abv of 5% according to my measurements. Not bad but not lager.”

“Almost as soon as its bottled and on the shelf some bugger goes and drinks it. This is the go to lager for me. Quick, easy, drinkable. I just wonder what it tastes like after a few weeks on shelf!”
