“I needed a bucket quickly so my wife purchased one from the local home brew shop. When it arrived home I was able to compare it to this bucket. If you exclude the air lock, tap and drilled lid the price was within £1. The quality was much poorer than the lovebrewing bucket, which was strong, didn't flex too much on lifting, and the cap was a great fit. The new bucket (Young's) flexed a lot, especially with 23 litres of wine inside. When I sterilised the Young's bucket as I normally do by sloshing 10ltrs of steriliser around the inside and then giving a good shake to splash and cover inside, the lid leaked! The seal is very weak compared to lovebrewing lid. This was made worse due to the Young's bucket flexing a lot. Do yourself a favour and buy the stronger, better, lovebrewing bucket.”
