A well made wheelchair, which unfolds easily.I have found it to be very comfortable in use, even after several hours. It has a few issues. The footplate pivot slackens off in use. Tightening the pivot bolts works for a short while but raising and lowering the footplate causes the bolts to slacken again. A slack footplate is a nuisance when loading into the car boot. Each of the front wheels has a prominent nut on the centre bolt, which can easily scuff paint off door frames. Reversing the bolts is a solution. Care must be taken when lowering the armrests as they can easy injure the fingers of inquisitive grandchildren. The batteries are easily charged on or off the wheelchair and they are neatly encapsulated into the frame but at the top a narrow curved edge on the battery can irritate a resting leg. We also purchased a spare pair, so when the batteries in the wheelchair are exhausted, we have a fully charged pair for replacement. Battery life is very good and lasts several days in general use. Removing the batteries from the wheelchair is awkward for the seated user and better performed out of the wheelchair. It is still difficult to press the release button. A hard push is required with a finger or thumb, while at the same time the other hand is used for extraction. This is an area, which needs improvement. As for the service from Livewell, we can only describe it as excellent. The telephone is answered in a short time and the staff are pleasant.

I have only been able to use my new InstaFold Auto Folding Electric Wheelchair once because of the lockdown but it was fantastic. The fold up was great for my son.It is a very strongly made chair but I wouldn’t recommend this chair for indoors but outdoors it is absolutely great and the service is so quick and helpful.Thank you.

Even though this is a hard time and I haven't had a good chance of using the chair outside but I have been learning to use the joy stick indoors running up and down the living room and turning circles I believe this chair is going to make my mobility much easier in the future.

Excellent build quality, comfortable, wide seat. Maybe an adjustable backrest so you to sit in an upright position in a restaurant.

Just got my wheelchair im really happy with it ive only been using it around the house but i love it, im so comfortable in it. I cant wait to get out and about in it because before i had A electric scooter and I was in so much pain in it that i could not be out moore than 1 hour . So now with my lovely new wheelchair i will be able to go out with my sons and grandchildren and have fun . Also so easy to fold and fit in my car .

I bought this to replace a folding scooter for which I have hoist to get in and out of my car. I can still use this (I had to buy another step to go around the chair) meaning I'm totally independent still which is great. I use this chair indoors and out. It's not suitable for off-road situations but it's great for using around town. It's also very manoeuvrable and easy to use indoors, at the office where I work for instance. Simple to fold and operate and having two batteries that can be charged in or out of the chair (independently of required). So far I've charged it once in a week, great.
