“Having struggled with a domestic 'Turkey Baster' to remove 'pond snails' and debris in our tropical freshwater aquarium we bought one of these as made specifically for the job viz: longer and with more suitable nozzle. In conjunction with a 'tea strainer' held at the ready and with deft movements works very well, returning the water to the tank leaving the debris in the strainer. The sand that drops through is afterwards readily 'blown' off the plant leaves etc with the Fluval Remover. For a quick clean-up much less faff than setting up the gravel vac. A good buy.”
