“The dark wood cabinet is just the right colour to fit with my existing furniture. This was a replacement aquarium set up for a very very old one which had been water damaged. Shame Jewel have discontinued this colour. Thankfull I found it at Lincs aquatics! It does need two to build the cabinet as you need to hold the pieces so they do not bend & snap. But once together, with the aquarium in place it looks lovely. So glad I searched for this cabinet online & found exactly what I wanted. Bonus- it is 20 litres larger than my old set up but takes up the same space. My fish love it. I did remove the internal filter as I have used this before on another aquarium & found it difficult to get to & a pain to clean. Instead I have my external filter fitted which works very well. The only things I do not like are the lights - they are far too bright & do not have a 24 hr cycle. This I had on my old tank, it was much better for my fish ( & my eyes). The lid is flimsy & easily knocked. I am thinking of removing it making my own Perspex top & then I can use my other 24 hr light on it. Would have been better if Juwel gave the option of no filter & no light.”
