“Although this aquarium is supplied with an internal filter, I find external filters more effective. So I emailed Lincs Aquatics to ask if the aquarium & hood could accommodate external filter pipes. I was assured this was the case.....but it is not! The cut-outs are only suitable for the leads to the heater & internal filter. In addition, the design of the cabinet is such that only a small external filter will fit, due to the inclusion of a shelf at the back. Very disappointing.”
