Nothing wrong with the lechuza pon itself, however the bag had split in the box so half the stuff was in the box itself, the bottom of box was soaking wet and a hole in the corner of box so probably lost some along the way.

I'm determined to grow tomatoes over the autumn/winter months, having been spoiled this summer by the bounty from my greenhouse, so I bought a few... (a lot) of Balconera 50 containers some of which I'm going to experiment with semi-hydro for the first time. I've grown in soil, I've grown hydroponically but I've never grown in gravel and I was understandably sceptical, but so far I'm very impressed. Rinsing the Pon was a bit of a chore, and I'm not even sure it's necessary as you can fairly easily rinse the outer container of a Balconera and naturally get a full rinse of the substrate over time and as part of the standard maintainence cycle. The Pon holds water wonderfully well and so far (early days, mind) no issues with gnats or algae. I still have an almost full Ikea Sortera 60L bin for my rinsed Pon, but would have no hesitation buying more in the future. I looked at making my own Leca/Pon mix but honestly the real thing is both cheaper and better quality, IMO.

I love pon, my plants absolutely love it, but would be great if you could do a course one. My plants are so much happier been using for 1 year now. Never going bk to soil 95% of my plants are in semi hydro. Thanks to the Leca Queen on you tube.

Lechuza Pon is my go to product for all my plant needs now. I literally have over 100 plants now all in Lachuza Pon. The plants are healthier and need so much individual time. It was the first time I’d used this company for my Lachuza but it arrived quickly and safely. I will use them again as their prices were competitive. If you’re thinking about using a Pon, don’t think of anything other than Lachuza Pon.
