“I bought this because l prepare the vegetable stew for an African charity dinner. We now use this pot for all stews and paella. Our slow cooker has become redundant.
The flat cast iron base works perfectly with our induction hub, and heat transfers well around the base and side of the pot, reducing the possibility of burnt food in the middle of the base. The exterior is enamelled black, and l cannot be sure what the interior is, but it is tough. After the handle of my large pan broke under the weight of stew, l bought a second one of these pots.
