“I'm using this as the receptacle for a cyclone dust extractor- I chose it because the lid can make a hermetic seal to the barrel. The 60 litre barrel is very strong and the lid was easy to machine to create an airtight seal for the cyclone which fits onto the lid. The barrel is good value and the handles make it easy to move around the workshop. The whole arrangement works well and during long runs with the CNC carving machine the problems I had with other dust collection systems appear to have been resolved. Only quibble was that the barrel was delivered by way of pushing it into a bush outside the workshop, with no attempt to alert me that it had arrived!”
