“When it says 'Snap open the membrane in the base of the profile, push in the cable and lay the protector in place', it actually means go to Homebase and buy a Stanley knife and cut along the bottom, which is fiddly, before you can get the cables inside it. This is because the base does not snap open - it's made of rubber... The little V in the image which is presumably what is supposed to enable you to open it, doesn't exist - or not on the several metres I have bought.”
Hi Peter, thank you for your order and for your feedback. Please accept our apologies for this error. Surprisingly, the design of these cable protectors has been changed without our staff noticing or our manufacturer making us aware.
Our warehouse team will now be pre-cutting protectors which do not have an open bottom – in order to eliminate this problem in future.
