“This was a very bulky valve which will not turn in the space available in the cage housing the IBC to enabe you to screw the whole item into the thread at the foot of the tank. The "nut" at the connector end is not a captive sleeve that can turn independently of the whole item (which you can't see from the photos) so you can't install it at the foot of the IBC. I imagine you can buy a piece of pipe with 60 x 6 thread either end but the valve on the item is exremely stiff and I fear that turning it on or off at the end of a plastic extender will strain it and risk damage. In short, not fit for purpose”

This is explained in the description of the product, so whilst it may not be suitable for your intended purposes, it does function as an “in-line” replacement.
