“Placed my order with the understanding that it would be delivered 3-5 working days. After this period had elapsed I phoned to see what was going on and was told that they would look into it. Upon my second call a day later I was told they were waiting for more stock to come in as they had had a lot of call for salt/grit boxes (not surprisingly as it is winter and cold/icy conditions) so surely you would carry more stock in the winter months than the summer.
I eventually spoke to a very helpful lady who said she would look into it and phoned me back to say she had located one so that was dispatched and arrived soon after.
Quality of product etc was excellent but think stocks should be available when advertised as they were.”
Hi Brian, thank you for your order and for your feedback. We source our salt directly from a quarry based in Scotland, and unfortunately they were not able to keep up with demand this year. We believe this may have been a national issue, as we tried to source our salt from alternative suppliers and were given similar or longer lead times.
