“Fixing holes are only in the top and bottom of inner metal frame, so unable to use as ordered to fit in between vertical joists in new build flat. Because of weight, unsuitable to secure to plasterboard at top and bottom as unable to provide horizontal support. 450 x 450 Fire Rated panel available to good home !”

“Panel arrived quickly, was well packaged and reasonably priced. Pretty easy to fit for a experienced DIYer. Looks very good in situ. As a belt and bracers I applied fire resistant foam along the internal edge of the apperature from within the ceilling space to ensure an air tight seal but that might have been an overkill but it put my mind at rest regarding it being an airtight fit. I would have also been happy if it had some form of intumitant strip along the back of the pictureframe to provide same.”
