“Really only designed for the modern house. Tried to install this and succeeded with modifcations to install this in the right size opening, but there are other restricting factors, if your ceiling is thicker than standard plasterboard for example, you might struggle. Also as the hinged part of the hatch isn't removable and you aren't able to fit from above, this is amoungst the more awkward to install, despite its weight, and you really need 2 people. Build quality is great though, and a responsive team when it arrived damaged.”
