About Jericho Coffee Traders:

Kiwi James and his wife Lizzie had always been in love with the idea of having their own coffee business, often scheming about how they would go about starting it up.

The opportunity came in 2009 when they found a beautiful Vespa trike for sale on the side of the road, and both thought: “that needs a coffee machine on the back of it”! And so, Jericho Coffee Traders was born!

Now we have a thriving online business and three locations in Oxford, UK - our Espresso bar on the High Street, our Cafe at the Oxford Castle, and our Cafe & Roastery on Osney Mead - all serving delicious espresso and filter coffees accompanied by locally made pastries and cakes.

A well delivered experience, particularly enjoyed the espresso session. I received this as a gift and would recommend to others. Would have enjoyed more on the milk art but certainly not disappointed

I learned a lot about coffee, how to appreciate the flavours of different regions and how to appreciate the effort that goes into speciality coffee. Very interesting and enjoyable

Connor was a very good and enthusiastic host and I learnt a lot about the whole process of coffee growing and roasting etc as well as the actual tasting sessions.

Hugely enjoyable and informative. Been a coffee addict for about 60 years, been a coffee snob for the last 20 years, but this course taught me how to appreciate coffees that I would not have considered before, it provided a clear background to all stages of the coffee seed cycle, from berry to cup via different pre-baking preparation cycles (I now know how to choose), different types and grades of baking (I now understand what the implications are), different brewing techniques and what flavours survive the best. And lots more! I came out buzzing! Connor has a great host!
