Anemone De Cean Mixed spring flowering garden bulbs.
A delightful mixture of white, blues, pinks and purples, flowers February to April and grow to about 15cms tall.
Anemones are ideal to plant on rockerys or in pots on the patio to provide some extra colour in early Spring. They prefer cool conditions so are not ideal to have inside. Also excellent to naturalise under grass, they will do better with a sunny position but will still grow if they get some shade. Anemones are actually a rhizome or tuber. Well drained humus rich soil is required, plant the tubers about 5cms deep and 10cms apart in September/October. They can be propagated by dividing mature clumps in late summer then re-planting again immediately. They are happy being left in the same position to flower for many years as you would with narcissus.
