Grape: 100% old vine Tempranillo, hand harvested, fermentation in small truncated cone-shaped concrete tanks, ageing 18-20 months in 225 litre casks of 50% French and 50% American oak
Deep cherry red with violet hues. Aromas with good intensity, black fruits, spicy, toasted and a mineral background that gives complexity to the whole nose. Balanced, tasty with good structure. Well-integrated acidity that brings freshness and a broad fruity finish. Spicy, mineral and liquorice notes.

The winery is located in Brinas, 2km from Haro, on a hill surrounded by the river Ebro at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria mountain range. The Tobelos project was born in the last decade of the 20th century and is named after an ancient Holm oak tree.
Ideal to accompany lamb cooked in any way, red meat, chicken, vegetables and even fish when barbecued.
