Cerro Anon Crianza, Rioja Alta, Spain, 2021
Grapes: A blend of 90% Tempranillo, 5% Mazuelo and 5% Graciano, 20 year old vines, matured for 14 months in oak and at least 6 months in bottle.
A fine example of Crianza Rioja with fruit sourced mainly from vineyards in the Rioja Alavesa. An intensely dark cherry red with sparks of ruby. Initial fruity aromas are followed by spicy notes and aromas from the oak cask ageing. On the palate it is very structured and smooth. The tannins are ripe and mellow and the finish long and refined.

"Cola, cedar wood and tobacco mingle with blue fruit and plum skin. The palate has dried fruit and silky tannins, plus a soft, sweet American oak finish."
