Quinta do Vallado LBV Late Bottled Vintage Port, 2018
A field blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz aged in steel and old oak tonies.
This Late Bottled Vintage shows brooding black cherry fruit with a huge cedary core. A full bodied wine with a fine dark colour, ripe and mouth filling fruit and a sweet finish.

"The 2018 Late Bottled Vintage Port (LBV) is an unfiltered field blend from old vines aged for 36 months in all stainless steel this year. It comes in with 90 grams of residual sugar and a long cork. It was bottled in April 2022. Not quite the powerhouse, perhaps, that the 2017 was, this is still delightful because it is pure, fresh and friendly. The fruit is aromatic and full of flavor, the modest sugar not getting in the way much. This is a pleasure to drink and able to age a bit too. I'd drink it relatively young, though. I love that fruit now. There may be complexity to come if you wait." Drink 2022-2035
