95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon with some oak.
Chateau Malbat has a deep and brilliant colour, with a fruity nose of cherry and plum. It is aromatically intense, medium bodied, with soft, fleshy texture on the palate.
Well suited for a variety of cuisines. Will benefit from decanting or opening an hour before drinking.
Chateau Malbat has been a family run estate since 1870. Today the 4th generation of the Rochet family looks after the vineyard with the greatest care and produces wines with respect for established traditions, while benefiting from the latest technological advances in grape growing and wine production.
