This is a real treat, a classic off dry and aromatic Alsatian Gewurztraminer. A pale yellow colour with a very enjoyable and tropical bouquet with floral aromas of rose and exotic fruit notes such as pineapple, mango and lychee. In the mouth it is round, soft and well balanced. Long and aromatic, with lychee and exotic fruits, clean and fresh on the finish.
A stylish, richly textured Gewurztraminer with enjoyable fruit.
A great Gewurztraminer as an aperitif or with smoked salmon and smoked meats. Matches very well with oriental cuisine and ethnic cuisine particularly Indian, Thai, Chinese, North African dishes. Try with blue cheeses or Munster cheese and soft strong flavoured cheeses in general.
