Producer Tasting Note:
A classic style, fruity and elegant tannins. Complex with a long mouth feel. This Merlot shouts red fruit on the nose with underlying hints of star anise and smoky aromas.
The Clos Malverne wine farm was established by owner Seymour Pritchard in 1969 with the first commercial wine released in 1988.
Critic's Tasting Note:
"Ruby brick. Capsicum and tea-leaf on the rich nose. Palate is smooth and elegant with layeres of leather and spice. Dried prunes and plum on the aftertaste." Drink through 2026
