Peelaway Marine is a specially formulated, water-based paint remover. It has been designed to strip multiple layers of antifoul in just one application. It is ideal for use on a variety of surfaces like GRP, wood and metal hulls. It is easy-to-use paste is applied directly to the surface. It is then covered with the included poultice blanket to prevent drying out. The patented poultice system allows the product to stay active for extended periods, lifting away layers of paint without harsh scraping or sanding. Once the process is complete, the blanket is peeled off-;removing the softened paint with it. The whole process goes a long way to helping reduce dust and dockside contamination. Peelaway Marine is also effective on most other paints and varnishes. The light paste consistency makes it suitable for vertical surfaces. For best results, we recommend carrying out a patch test using the Peelaway Marine Test Kit (see product code: 410165) to determine the correct working time.
