A fully automated submersible bilge pump with an integral water sensor so the pump turns on when the water level rises and shuts off when water is removed. There is a back-up feature to prevent dry running of the pump if the sensor is fouled, during which the pump reverts to a 2.5 minute cycle mode. This not only prevents damage to the pump from being run dry but will also save the vessels battery power. The compact size makes it ideal for smaller vessels and the tough plastic body incorporates a quick release inlet strainer for rapid cleaning. The pump also features back flow prevention, via a non-return valve in the outlet, to reduce the amount of water left over in the bilge, and air vents in the body to help prevent air locks in challenging installations.
