The Calypso Aluminium Mast Mount offers a high quality and simple solution to installing both the Calypso Ultrasonic Portable Solar Powered Wind Meter and the Calypso Ultra-Low Power Wired Ultrasonic Wind Meter. The aluminium pole comes in 2 standard lengths; 33cm or 1m and has a standard VHF aerial mount thread (1"-14 UNS thread) at its base so it can easily be attached to any marine VHF antenna mount, whether flat surface, horizontal bar, vertical bar, tilted bar, or mast. A central hole allows the Calypso Ultra-Low Power sensors data cable to be passed internally and onwards to the Calypso NMEA Gateway or chart plotter/display. The Calypso Ultrasonic Portable Solar Powered Wind Meter screws directly onto the aluminium masts M16 x 1.5 aluminium male thread. The Calypso Ultra-Low Power Wired Ultrasonic Wind Meter mounts to the mast using the Calypso Ultra-Low Power Wired Ultrasonic Wind Meter Mast Adapter fitting (sold separately).
