A screw in fitting designed to fit Yamaha, Mercury and Mariner outboards that allows flushing of the engine with a standard hose. Fitting includes a pressure relief port to prevent engine damage from overpressure. Included in the kit is a hozelock type connector used to connect a standard garden hose to the screw in fitting. This connector is equiped with a shut of valve that stops waterflow when it is not connected to the engine.

“I bought this adapter to be fitted permanently on my outboard engine. Other manufacturers and even this one say it can be fitted permanently but farce 4 Chandler’s say it can’t! Very abrupt service with a non caring attitude”

“Disappointing ,very cheap and weak plastic a poor version of hoselock . Couldn’t get a tight enough seal to run water through the engine . Expensive at £3 let alone the £16 I paid . Always thought of Force 4 as a trusted source for parts and supplies , this has dented that perception.”
