Whisker poles are used to wing out' the jib when sailing downwind, thus stabilizing the sail and enabling it to work more efficiently. This telescopic whisker pole is a two section spar which can be extended and securely locked in position by an internal twist lock device. Made from high strength anodized aluminium tubing it features self-latching fittings on both ends. These composite fittings are high strength, very low weight and resistant to wear and corrosion.
