“This hose reel is a novel idea, and works well, but is let down by a couple of details:
The general construction of the casing feels very flimsy, so I treat it very carefully.
Winding the hose back in tends to bring grass and dirt with it, a third hand is needed here to wipe the hose with a cloth as you wind it in..
Mounting it on a wall could help, but any hose can be used this.
Also on winding up, the little coil of hose in the centre has a mind of it's own, I tend to leave it loose now..
But I absolutely love the way it uses multiple tubes, that is sheer genius, and outweighs the minor drawbacks.”
