Printed Red Ensign flags. These flags are made from durable UV resistant polester material and have the design printed onto them. This offers a good quality flag that is also great value. Our flags are made to Force 4s specification by our trusted flag maker in the EU. The are designed for marine use and the material specified flys nicely and looks good. There is no right or woring answer to this, we have put some rough guidlines against the sizes below, but ultimately there is no real ettiquette in terms of flag size to vessel size. The flag must of course fit your flag staff, but otherwise what looks 'in proportion' seems to be the best guidline! Ensign choices We supply our ensigns in either a printed fabric (this listing) or in a sewn fabric, where each colour in the design is stitched together. Both look good, and are durable, however the sewn versions generally fly a little better and look a little more solid due to the extra weight given by the stitching. The extra time involved in manufacturing the sewn flags does make them more expensive however, so the sewn flags are generally around twice the price of a printed flag.
