Sewn Red Ensigns - These sewn ensigns are manufactured for us in top quality nylon wool bunting in the EU. They are roped and toggled to fit your halyard, and will last for years if cared for properly. Individually sewn, these flags have a good weight to the fabric, and fly very nicely. They are not to be confused with the cheaper printed types of flag, which offer a much lighter flag and can looks a little less aesthetically pleasing. There is no right or woring answer to this, we have put some rough guidlines against the sizes below, but ultimately there is no real ettiquette in terms of flag size to vessel size. The flag must of course fit your flag staff, but otherwise what looks 'in proportion' seems to be the best guidline!
