Antal W6A Winch - This is the smallest winch in Antals’ range and at only 430g, the most lightweight, making it ideal for boats up to 6m. It has a glass-fibre resin base and drum with an aluminium central rod. Dimensions Height: 87mm Base Diam: 94mm Drum Diam: 60mm Weight: 0.43kg Fastenings: 5 x Ø6mm. “A good quality winch which will be used for Jib sheets to replace an old worn/broken winch. The winch requires 5 M6 countersunk head bolts for fixing. The circlip on the top is easily removed to gain access to fit and also to clean/grease/ replace pawls.”

“Winch as it self is good enough for small boats. In my caee, because I am fussy, I wanted wich on the port side be anticlockwise and thought that once buyingvas pair I would received it... I was wrong... this wich comes only as clockwise and i had to dig for that information and finiahed up contacting manufacturer. Ergo: dealers supposed to be more aware what they r selling and maybe add such information. And all manufacturer - maybe it would be revolutionary to develop and design wich with internal directional lock that could be swaped so it could work both sides...”

“I bought two of these winches to mount on wood pads for coach screwing into wooden to assist in raising and lowering sails. They came apart easily to take the base screws and then clicked back into position already grease for action. Very pleased with the result”
