An inexpensive battery operated pump ideal for use in confined and awkward spaces. Useful for pumping the last drop out of the bilges, dinghy, water and fuel tanks etc. Also ideal for emptying aquariums and other jobs around the home/graden! “This is a totally useless piece of kit. I do not trust the good reviews for this pump. First it will not pump above the bottom of the handle. So this means the picture shown if pump hose going over a transom will not work. Second it will not empty last bit of water out of bilge. Third when I used it on my boat it lasted about 30 seconds then it stop working.”

“Really wasn't up to the job as a pump, the volume it extracted was tiny and within a two uses it got blocked / broken. Would spin but nothing came up, tried to fix but no luck. But don't bother with it.”

“This pump works well for emptying water from a boat and could be used for other things like emptying a loo before cleaning. I think if it was rechargeable that would be better than just battery operated.”

“Surprisingly efficient for a pump powered by 2 torch batteries. I use it to empty rainwater from the bilges of my old wooden boat. It pumps 5 litres in about 3 minutes. The pump doesn't like salty polluted rainwater so I rinse it with fresh tap water after use and spray a little WD40 in the intake and run it for 4-5 seconds before I put it away in its plastic sheath.”
