Convert a coolbox into a compressor cooled, thermostat regulated, fridge or freezer with the ability to freeze down to -18°C. Designed for easy DIY installation thanks to the “click-on” mounting bracket system, the air-cooled compressor features a quiet running fan to blow air through the condenser to remove heat. The cooling pipes that connect the compressor to the cooling plate feature 'quick connect' fittings, so that you can connect the two items together without any loss of refrigerant. The unit comes pre-filled, and does not require filling after installation. It is advisable that the compartment that the compressor is installed in is well ventilated allowing cold air to enter from below and hot air to escape to the top. The evaporator plate, which is fitted in the coolbox, connects to the compressor with self-sealing quick couplings.
