Wear & Tear Anti-Chafe Pads - A simple & smart long-lasting solution to avoid damage to gelcoats through rope burn or chafe. Made from ultra-thin, flexible, marine grade stainless steel with a high specification adhesive, this protective pad can be fixed to flat or curved surfaces. Unlike other anti-chafe products made of carbon fibre, Kevlar, PTFE, Pur Clear etc. these stainless steel pads are guaranteed to never wear through. “Arrived really quickly. Have only just placed them on the boat under ropes where there is wear on the cabin roof. Looks like they will do the job. Kevlar pads wore through so hoping these won’t. Easy to apply but needs care to ensure fully stuck down and surface was fully clean. It would be useful if smaller sizes were available too.”
