Application Guide Preparation: remove loose antifoul and contaminants; sand feathered edges; degrease and dry the surface. Priming: apply appropriate primer or tie coat if required by substrate or previous coating; follow manufacturer compatibility guidance. Thinning and tools: thin sparingly with No. 3 thinner when necessary; apply by brush or roller for small areas, use spray for full hull coverage. Application method: apply two thin, even coats rather than one heavy coat; maintain recommended flash and overcoat times between coats. Curing and burnishing: allow full cure before water contact; follow Hempel guidance for burnishing to achieve the smooth racing finish. Safety: use appropriate PPE and ensure good ventilation; dispose of solvents and waste according to local regulations.
