Ideal for mounting on the rail at the bow of a motorboat, this light, responsive and well balanced vane will give accurate wind direction indication making judging your approach into, or exit out of a berth much easier. It features a rail / stanchion mount which can be rotated for horizontal or vertical installation. The vane and shaft can be removed from the mount if desired when underway or for stowage. ? “Used on a 10 meter motor boat I thought it would fit my bow rail, however turns out my bow rail is 28mm diameter. I modified it and made it fit and very pleased with it. Worth checking rail diameter before ordering unless your prepared to make diameter of clamp bigger.”

“Well constructed indicator complete with rail mounting. Only downside is being black colour. Was easily remedied by reflective tape mounted on tail.”
