“I purchased this antenna because I liked the idea of the cable with pre terminated end fittings to reduce losses. The main problem with the antenna is that it didn't come with a nut to fix it to the mounting securely, and the thread is non-standard. I did also purchase the PL259 rubber cover, which is threaded, but it didn't seem overly secure. Our rigger wasn't impressed! I added a couple of cable ties to make sure it couldn't fall off.”

“A really nice aerial with an easy to connect fitting. The only let down is it doesn't come with a fixing nut and washer to fit to my existing mounting on my A frame, this has to be bought separately in a kit that comes with a mounting bracket, I just threw the bracket away, what a waste, hence only 4 stars.”
