“Like all inflatable kayaks there's more time involved setting up and packing away than a hard-shell (we have 5 of these).
Pros: Performance on this kayak is good in terms of speed as it sits flat on the water, and at 9 psi feels rock hard.
Cons: The paddle was not to the liking of my wife, so you may wish to think about getting a different one. Despite it being quite wide, it can feel disconcertingly unstable which I have not come across before in a kayak and something we will have to get used too.”
“Dealing with Fatsticks has been an absolute pleasure! They have gone above and beyond to help me. We love our Kayaks! They are so impressive. They are strong stylish & sturdy & we would highly recommend as an inflatable kayak we can’t fault them! The price is competitive in comparison to similar kayaks that don’t look as good. Looking forward to having a long relationship with Fatsticks going forward - Thanks Dianne & Russell.”
“Great looking kayaks, quick to inflate, pretty stable on the water and track well. They pack away nicely into wheeled bags but are pretty heavy. Easier to transport than a rigid kakyk though. The instruction link is for paddleboards, be better if it linked to a kayak video. Delivery was very quick.”
“What a fantastic bit of kit bought the 2 man for touring there’s loads of room for bags and picnics etc, its a breeze to paddle best bit of kit I bought for a long time 10/10
Also big fat 10/10 for Fatstick great people to deal with. Many thanks guys”
“After owning a Fatstick Paddle board for a few years I took the plunge and purchased a Fatstick Kayak! Couldn’t be happier, it’s a nice stable platform with raised sides so great for the kids to keep them safe. A lot of people come to me thinking it’s a solid kayak and I explain to them it’s actually inflatable! Great bit of kit, thank you once again :)”
