“Having been looking at similar spec full carbon paddles at around the £400 mark I was very pleasantly surprised to find this 2 piece option from Fatsticks. It’s only 28g heavier than the alternative I’d been considering but at much less than half the price it was a no brainier.
Had it out last night and found it handled brilliantly. I was finally able to keep up with my friend rather than trailing behind. We swapped paddles and he was impressed by the quality and cadence achievable with it too. It’s a slightly smaller blade than I’d been using previously but the weight and shape makes paddling much less effort. The shaft has a textured grip on it which should make winter paddling with gloves on easier too.
So nice to get a bag included in the price too.
