“Overall, it was quite a good trip, but you really should warn travelers about needing enough Euros for transportation. Hotels: All were good and well situated. Favorites were Porto Naxos, La Maltese Estate, & Vision Omonia. Excellent staffs there, as well. Islands were interesting with lots to do and good beaches. One of the best things in Athens was taking the Hop On, Hop Off bus. You should suggest this to travelers. The Greek people were fantastic for the most part. We were helped generously several times when we'd gotten lost or needed other help. And they usually didn't want a tip for helping us! The Santorini Sunset Sailing tour was fantastic! We would do that again in a heartbeat! Negative thoughts: Milos: We were sent there on a late arriving ferry, with an early departure ferry the next morning. Why were we sent there? We had no time at all to experience this island, and should have just skipped this island and been sent to Santorini. We spoke with people who had been at its wonderful beaches, but we had no time to see them! Was this an error on Discovery Nomads part? Originally, we were to be there a longer time! Our sailing tour on Naxos was canceled (and thank you for the quick response about compensation for this), and we were very disappointed, as it was one of the things we'd most looked forward to on the trip. Two hotels did not offer breakfast: Anita Rooms on Milos, and Vision Omonia in Athens (where they told us breakfast was not included, even though our itinerary indicated breakfast). We spent quite a bit of money getting taxi transportation to hotels, ferries, etc. Often, the drivers preferred Euros instead of credit cards, so we had to deal with that. You need to warn potential travelers that they need to get quite a lot of Euros before taking this trip. We found that many vendors either didn't accept cards or had internet issues that prevented our buying from them. Though I'd brought $500 in Euros for the trip, I had to get more ATM cash due to the taxis wanting Euros, etc.”

“The Greek Islands tour was an absolute dream come true. Each island we visited had its own unique vibe. Every day was filled with cool activities and in the evenings we were watching sunsets after days of sailing. Very good hotels and awesome restaurants recommendations !”

“We travelled on this tour in September 2022 and we loved it. Greece is soo beautiful, great food and Cyclades look like a fairytail! Sailing days were the best, amazing team on board, very nice catamarans and good food and drinks on board! We enjoyed it so much and then having free time to explore little townsnob the islands felt amazing.”
