“I acquired my Denman brush from my mum, a former hairdresser. It was so good I gradually stole it from her! The brush handle has lasted really well, but the rubber pad had degraded, she told me you could buy replacement pins and pad, this was great as I get to keep the sentimental value of the brush and its now useable again!”

“I hated waste many years before it was fashionable! I've been using Denman brushes and replacing the pin pads for 20 odd years. I can usually replace the pin pads three or four times before the handle breaks and if you keep the undamaged pins when the pad splits you can get an extra couple of months use out of the next pin pad too. P&P for a single pin pad ramps up the price but it's still cheaper than buying a new brush and saves a big lump of hard plastic each time. Why wouldn't you?”
