“This brush like the others is really hard to hold it hurts my hand very badly to hold it for too long which is basically a minute and it rips out my fine 4c hair. I’m obviously being very gentle with my hair but even still it takes twice as long to Detangle now and I cannot hold the brush with wet hands because it slips out. Although I will say once I do get it through it makes the curls clump nicely but that is the only good part about it. I actually have a tiny brush that works much better and I’ve gone back to using it.”

Hi Breann, Many thanks for getting in touch to share your review of our D3 Iconic Styler. I am sorry that you are finding it difficult to hold! Using the D3 as a detangler takes a lot of time and patients especially with very curly hair - we always recommend detangling first. “I have had coarse, thick, curly, super short to mid-back length hair though as I've aged, I've let my hair grow to waist length, however it is now much less coarse and much less thick. Through all these iterations, Denman's have done the job with no muss, no fuss, no problems. I'm a customer for life.”
