“I owned my original D9 Denman brush for over 8 years. When the pink rubber base started to disintegrate, I looked into getting a new one. Because I had modified my old Denman and removed some of the rows, I chose the D7 in the African Violet color way, it’s beautiful. It seems a little less substantial than my original Denman. It’s more lightweight, so I have to use more force to get this through my very curly afro-textured hair (ringlets about a quarter inch in diameter). It is still basically the same brush, I only use it when I need to thoroughly detangle.”
